THE DAVALOS MEMORIAL SCHOLARSHIP
The Princess Closet Organization is proud to announce the creation of the Davalos Memorial Scholarship, with a generous donation from the family of Mrs. Eugenia Davalos, daughter of Rosario and Antonio.
“This scholarship award is very special for my parents, because it recognizes their compassion of helping others throughout their lives,” said Eugenia Davalos. “I strongly believe that if my parents were still alive today they would very much be proud of the work that the Princess Closet has done over the past two years. That is why I am happy to create this memorial scholarship that will go to assist a student in continuing her education.”
By establishing a memorial scholarship, we hope to showcase another way that others can give to the Princess Closet Organization on behalf of their loved ones. But more importantly, it will also allow us to give a scholarship award to a college student.
To qualify for the Davalos Memorial Scholarship, applicants must meet 120 service hours with the Princess Closet. This scholarship is open to any High School or college student.
If a qualified applicant is chosen, the award will be given at the Princess Closet Annual Scholarship Fundraiser, where the student must be present to accept the award.
