I feel so fortunate to have been chosen as a recipient of the 2011 Princess Closet – Davalos scholarship.  Thank you so much for your generosity in funding this scholarship. I am truly grateful for the assistance that I am receiving because of you. Your support has kept me from worrying so much about the cost of tuition. I truly value my education, and this scholarship has afforded me the opportunity to continue with my educational pursuits.

I have just begun my freshman year at Saint Xavier University where I plan on pursuing a degree in biology. I one day hope to get into medical school and become a pediatrician. My parents have always stressed the importance of education and the value of a college degree. I hope one day to share these same lessons with other high school students.

Once again, I want to thank you for making this scholarship possible and for your generosity. I hope to represent the Princess Closet – Davalos Scholarship in a positive manner and give back to my community as you have.
