Princess Closet

PROGRAM DESCRIPTION

Student Ambassadors are girls in high school dedicated to the positive promotion of Princess Closet. They will work on a volunteer basis to serve as liaisons between the Princess Closet and prospective high school students (girls). The role of the student ambassador is to promote the Prom Dress Giveaways, Ultimate Prom Package Contest and any special event to their classmates.  Ambassadors will assist the organization by increasing the awareness of the program here in the Chicago Area.   Ambassadors will volunteer during the Prom Dress Giveaway as models, shoppers, accessories coordinators, photographers and registrars during these events which are held in the spring.

Student Ambassadors have the unique opportunity to develop and receive training in communication, public relations, marketing and interpersonal skills.

Student Ambassadors may be asked to volunteer for the following events:

• Dream Day event
• Fundraisers
• Give feedback on website
• Write for Admissions Online blog
• Host dress drives
• Sort/hang dresses at storage facility
• Circulate flyers via electronic or physically handing them out
• Special events (models, speakers,etc.)
• Represent Princess Closet as speakers
